More on Mint.com

Mint has made quite a few major changes since Intuit bought it out - mostly for the good. LOVE the goals that have now been implemented. Love how I can link it to an account, and I love how I can instantly see my progress, see how much further I have to go, and be able to edit to see how adding more or less towards a goal each month would change for that goal.

With goals, the one annoying thing that I've found is that I need to dedicate a separate account for each goal. Which means, now I'm not achieving maximum savings rate out of one account (let's be realistic... who is going to open up 5 or 6 savings accounts at the same bank???) It would be great if I could dedicate a certain percentage of an account towards a goal, or a certain dollar amount. That way, I could still see my savings progress, but then I could also get a better savings rate without having to open a ton of new accounts. (I'm lazy, what can I say.)

In the last few years I've grown up quite a bit, and therefore my financial goals are evolving. I wish that mint could let me play overall scenarios with my money. For example, if my husband and I decide to have a baby - how would I need to re-budget & account for reduce/lack of income for a set period of time. Or, if we want to buy a house - we wouldn't be saving money for a down payment anymore - but our monthly mortgage payment would be presumably larger than our current rent payment (at least where we live.) It would be nice to be able to run this type of thing.

I'd also like some type of tax prediction based on what stocks I sell each year, and have it integrate with my Intiut data from TurboTax so that I could keep a handle on my taxes throughout the year - so I make sure that I'm not paying late payment penalties b/c I didn't realize that I needed to pay quarterly taxes. (It would also be great if I could slowly fill out all the information through out the year, so it doesn't take so long when I do my taxes with Turbotax next year.)

BTW: Does anyone know if I can integrate my husbands turbotax account with mine when we joint file for the first time this year?

Also, anyone Join Manilla? I think this is an awesome idea! I just wish it would integrate with other programs I use, or add something that I've "got to have". I would love to have a singular filing spot for things like my frequent flier numbers and/or hotel rewards programs. It would be great if there was a Mint.com equivalent to this where it would log on to each and let me know my account balance so I could track it like my financial accounts. Problem with Manilla? Lots of nice to haves like frequent flier miles and stuff, but it also feels like another email inbox with account statements and stuff. I already have much more sophisticated setup (Mint) which can do all the bill reminder stuff. There's no reason that I would go to Manilla on a weekly basis just to check frequent flier mile accounts. I don't fly that often.

Anyone ever use things like Tripit? Can Tripit track miles?
