Motivated
Ever have one of those days where you are actually motivated to get stuff done. Especially the stuff that you've been putting off for a long time? This is one of those days for me. It's pretty awesome actually. I've gotten a lot of stupid things accomplished that I've been putting off for a while. Like laundry, cleaning up my room, bills, organizing, etc. Stupid stuff that has got to get done, but I've just been completely uninterested in doing it.
I think it will make me much more productive if I have everything together. I won't feel so disorganized and overwhelmed. That's my biggest problem. Letting things get so bad that I feel overwhelmed and don't know where to start. That's not a good place to e. I'm not good at the daily maintance of getting stuff done. I think I have to wait until things get to crisis mode before I'll act. I guess it's one of those, it's not priority until it's a fire. I need to get better at life. I guess it's a slow gradual process huh? I'm a wishful thinker.
I also found like three books that I'm about halfway through on all of them. Since I have tomorrow off, I might even finish one of them. I want to run errands around the city too. I expect that most of the shops will be open. Since I never have a day off to just run around the city while all the shops are open - this is perfect opportunity to do all the shit I've been meaning too (some of it stuff that I've meant to do since I moved here in January!) Pretty pathetic, I know. Yeah for feeling motivated!
I even did stupid things like updated my amazon list for my family for Christmas. Unfortunately, I don't really need a lot of things, so it's pretty pathetic. That's okay though. At least I made an effort right? I think I could use some new artwork for my walls too. I'm just not sure what to hang up. I'm not sure I trust my family to pick out artwork for me. Art is such a person thing. For me it's all about how a painting makes me feel; what emotion is invoked. It's kind of hard to know that for another person. No matter how well you know them.
I think I need some new hobbies. Something that isn't crazy expensive. I tend to like doing the things that cost a lot of money. I think I need to find some stuff that doesn't cost crazy amounts of money. Any suggestions? I really liked glass blowing, but it's kind of expensive. I think I'm going to sign up for another class anyways.
Things on my to do list yet this weekend: Do monthly look at budget/finances, dump more money into 401K & Inventment fund, find new plant to replace Africain Violet that I killed, Run to Au Chocolat, take airconditioner to storage, file bills/insurance/banking stuff, put suitcases in storage, get picture hangers, run to Ikea Monday to look for real curtains?, Yoga Monday?, contact Cambridge Music school about lessons?, Personal Trainer/Gym?, mail expense check, ...
