Sad

Two weekends ago I remembered that my little brother was going to graduate university last weekend. So with the current job situation sucking it up, a probable pending offer, and a serious need to see one of my friends who lives really close to Dayton - I bought a plane ticket last Monday morning to fly out Friday afternoon and fly back today. I really had a really good weekend.

I screwed around a lot and really accomplished nothing - but it was fun to just do that. We went out to dinner with my little brother, my parents, and my little brother's friend. (I use the term "little" pretty liberally - he's only younger than me and by no means smaller.) My older brother was oddly absent. Everyone thought he was going to show up, but he didn't. We played Wii at Matt's new apartment (very sexy place.) Then we had to get up freaking early to go to the graduation ceremony.

I have to say that I LOVE technology, don't you? We lasted through over half of the ceremony. We were starving because we got up late and didn't eat breakfast. So I convinced my parents it would be a good idea to leave early and go out to lunch (thereby missing the crowd - but saw Matt go up and accept his diploma.) So I texted Matt and told him to leave and meet us outside, just telling any of the profs of whatever that he had to go to the bathroom (and just never come back.) He totally rockstared it and left - then we all left and went to a tasty lunch. It was really rocking. Matt was about the 500th person out of like 1100 people graduating. It was taking a long freaking time. We're awefull people. It totally rocked.

Then I just hung out the rest of the weekend - and it was good. I was really sad to leave. Really sad.

I also got good news that the place that I interviewed with in Cambridge is going to extend an offer. I'm interested to see what they have to offer - but I'm also hesitant because as I said before - it just seems too good to be true. They are supposed to email the offer to me today - we'll see what it looks like.

I'm sad to be back - it really was a good weekend.
