MassHoles

I would like to lament a bit on MassHoles. To start, I will freely admit to being one of the populous. I love MassHoles. They are amazing. I know exactly what to expect when I am driving - everyone is trying to go where ever as quickly and efficently as possible. However, with too many people, and too many cars (espeically people from out of town who have no idea where they are going and haven't armed themselves with a GPS) that hold up traffic because the person driving the car, is quite simply, and idiot. Massholes do what should be done in this situation, they ignore the traffice laws, and simply do as they must to keep traffic moving. Just because someone is making an illegal left turn does not mean that they are going to back up traffic for three blocks, I'll just make my way around - somehow - who cares if there is a sidewalk in the way?

That is not to say that obey traffic laws = saftey. Mass actually has the lowest fatal accident rate in the country.

Some people would wonder how that is. It's very simple my friends. While massholes do drive like, well, assholes. They are not unsafe or about to risk their lives for traffic. It's just a high pressure high speed environment. Get your granny ass off your cell phone, and do what you're supposed to be doing on the phone, drive.

As a huge aside (IE a work bitch) I made my boss really uncomfortable yesterday by wearing heels. Strange I know. The secretary only commented on how cute they were, the other two guys in the office didn't notice. I was in the hallway and he approached me, and said "you are taller today." Yep, wearing small heels. Then said something to the effect of he is not used to it, and not sure that he likes it. Ummmm how does me wearing heels make you uncomfortable? Because I'm now even taller than you before. Little insecure man, get over yourself, no one cares. I'm not really sure what to think about that either. It was definitely an inappropriate comment, in my mind, bordering on discrimination. I'm not sure if it's the cultural thing, or his own insecurities. My vote right now is for the latter.

I wouldnt describe a tourist not knowing where they are going as an idiot. I mean to say i wouldnt from the perspective of someone NOT in their car behind them. Im sure if i were in my car behind them id be swearing to high heaven.

Anyway my point is i would describe them as ignorant, inconvienant, even potentially dangerous but not necessarily idiotic.
I prefer to use the word Idiot in the classical sense: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idiot "person lacking professional skills"
