Starting
I feel like I'm finally starting to get it together. Slowly but surely. I got a desk, filing cabinet, and blinds from Ikea this weekend. Cheap crap - I know. But it doesn't make a lot of sense for me to put a lot of money and effort into a place when I have no idea how long I will end up living here. At least one might be out in March or April if she can't find a job that will sponser her visa. All I need now is a desk chair... where's an office depot when you need one?
Tomorrow will be my first real day out of the office since I got back from Israel - so hopefully everything will go well with it. I don't think that we'll have any problems. Yeah for getting out of the office. Then next week I'll be in LA for the entire week, which is entirely exciting. I almost had to go to Houston instead (sorry aunt Juli!) but *sigh* I'll have to bear through that horrible LA weather (and traffic.)
Well I looked at my receipt from Ikea today and got a wonderful surprise. They only charged me for one of the four legs to go with my table. Yeah for free three legs! I just ordered an office chair online tonight too. So hopefully within a few days I should have everything that I need. Yeah for feeling more organized. I'm really getting closer to feeling a lot more organized, which means my life feels more together, and I feel less like a spider monkey.
So here's my theory on my grey hairs. If I grow out all of my hair then the volume of hair that is grey will look better because in terms of overall volume, there will be a larger number of dark hair to light therefore more volume to hide in. As I am assuming that the grey hairs will also be shorter (because when they are long enough and I find them I pull them out.) It could be argued that it is not the total volume of grey hair, but rather the percentage. If that is the case, them I'm screwed. 25 is definitely too young to be going grey. What do I have to worry about at this age other than making enough money for rent?
