OMG Free WiFi in the Airport

So my trip to Israel is almost done. My flight leaves in about another hour. Amazing amounts of security check points are aparently required before you can get on your plane. It's not an easy system nor is it well marked. Apparently customs can be difficult to leave Israel - but it was suprisingly simple. Overall Israel was fun, a bit more boring than I expected - but then I expected less of a western city and more history. I was also a little bored because no one came with me - going places by yourself is never half as fun as going with someone else.

It was really good to meet everyone in Israel so that I can put a name with the face. The one guy in the US was jealous b/c they promised that they would send him initially - but never actually did. I can see that the major struggle with this company will be communicating properly internally and finding a good application for their technology. They are starting to take off - but they haven't really found their right niche yet. I think that they will get there - they just need some time.

My work will let me bring someone on my trips as long as it doesn't intrafer with my job - and I can take extra vacation days before I come home if I want to vacation there as well. Give me a couple months to build up some frequent flyer miles - then I can take people for free! How awesome?

The one thing I will not miss about this crazy traveling is the eating out all the time. I know some people really love that, but I'm not one of them. I like cooking, I like being able to prepare things how I want it or have easy access to the dishes that I like instead of just whatever is on the menu. I'm also glad to be away from the Israel twist on all food. If you get Mexican - instead of tons of cumin - you get like basil or oregano. They say that they like spicy things - but not to the same extent that I do. Apparently dumping hot sauce on a burritto is not "kosher" here as it is in the US.

Maybe on the super long flight back I might even get through one of the books I brought. I thought I would read more than I actually ended up doing.
