Not much to report
In terms of my job and my life I have nothing new or interesting to report. I been really busy at work; busy at feeling incompetent, and working long hours at it. Any free time has been spent trying to get my life together and organized into some semblance of order. Hopefully by the end of this weekend I will be much more together and will feel a little more grounded.
Good news is that we should all be getting refunds from the government. It's supposed to try to help the economy. Whatever, I never say no to free money. I love how people think of the money that goes towards their taxes as their money. It's not. I'm suprised that that just don't charge companies all of the money to pull from your salary, and instead everyone just negotiates based on their take home salary instead of their pre-tax salary.
Speaking of pretax salary - I completed and filed my tax returns tonight. I got my W-2 in the mail the other day and figured that if I do it sooner - then it takes a lot less time to process than if you file it closer to the deadline. Typically if I file early it will take <1 week to get my refund. That means that the end of this month is going to be mad cash for me. I'll get my paycheck, expense check from Israel, and my tax return back. Awesome.
I've had a few issues with my car this week. This evening the front drivers side tire was really low on air. I think it was probably just because I hit a pot hole or something. I guess we will see tomorrow morning if the tire kept the air I put into it. The horn on the car also has started to sound absolutely ridiculous. Not at all loud and forceful, but really weak. It probably got some water or something in it. But it just sounds pathetic.
