Mufasa Downgraded

I finally got mufasa's muffler fixed today. But I think that Mufasa is going to keep his name. I like having a nickname for my car - it makes it a little more personal. It's really weird getting in and starting theI car and it's silent. I can't even tell that the car had started. It's a weird feeling. It doesn't feel like my car - it feels like a whole new experience. It's like I got a whole new car! I'm amazed how long this car has lasted. Hopefully it will keep lasting for a while. I like not having a car payment. It may look like a pile of rust - but it does pretty well for me.

I went to the eye doctor yesterday b/c I need more contacts. They dialated my eyes which is always an 'amazing' experience. I should have taken pictures of the freak eyes.... then I work up this morning with either a horrible attack of allergies or an incredibly bad sinus infection. I think that they are related. Along with the horrible stomach ache. Basically I think the recent stress is finally getting to me and my body is revolting.

I have to say that I have one of the most obnoxious neighboors on the face of the planet. The music that you listen to does not need to be on 6 hours a day to the point where I can not only hear the lyrics - but also understand the words. I don't really understand how people can be so inconsiderate. Did you never live at college and have neighbors next door? Did you never live with your parents who told you to turn it down? Why is it okay in an apartment setting? I just don't understand how people are so inconsiderate of everyone else who lives in the building. I think it's a boy thing too. When boys live in apartments and you tell them "maybe you should turn it down so that you don't annoy your neighbors." Inevitably the response is "meh" so what?

The other thing I don't get is how people walk so heavily on the floor. You're not that fat. It's not like you are a sumo wrestler who needs to pound the floor with his feet to show off his dominance. You're a freaking teacher! Teacher! Are you trying to stomp this place apart? I know that it's old - but it's pretty nice. I don't think that we should try to vibrate the place apart. I think that the sumo wrestler stopping that goes on above me causes the light bulbs in my ceiling fan to burn out at an incredibly fast pace. I swear to god - once a month I am having to replace one of the four light bulbs. It's ridiculous. It's either the sumo wrestling stomping or the wicked old building and subsequently wicked old electrical...
