Seattle/Orcas Island

Well... I didn't really end up seeing much of Seattle (unless you count Costco and Target as definitive "Seattle" things.) Though Orcas Island was really really pretty. The wedding planning and organizing was... well.... a little disorganized. That's okay though - they went through with the ceremony with no major hitches (even if they haven't signed the licence yet b/c they haven't found it. I'm betting its at Jess's mom's somewhere.)

The wedding was a lot of fun. I got to see just about everyone from Vegas again and hang out. It was really cool. I didn't really get to relax and just hang out until we went on the Whale Watch on Sunday.... I actually got to see whales this time. Every other time I've tried to go out whale watching - I never actually end up seeing any whale. We also saw some otters and sea lions and stuff. Check out Jess's Picasa - her popo's pictures are up already. I'll try to put mine up tonight - but it depends on how productive I am, how tired I am, and how much time I want to spend editing the pictures for content.... some of them are a little "risque."

The only bad part was that I got a sun burn from the whale watch. I didn't even think about sun screen because it wasn't that sunny. But I should have known that with the light reflecting off the water - it's like twice as bad. *Sigh* Now I just look retarded at work for a couple of days. That's okay though.

All in all it was a good time by all I think. Very typical Jess and Scott - very appropriate wedding for them.

The only part that truly annoyed me (sorry Scott) was Scott's sister. She didn't really fit in with the rest of the people her own age because most of them are married and/or have kids. So then she hung out with all the kids from Vegas - but just tried to prove that she was cooler/better/whatever than us the whole time. The problem was - no one else was trying to compete. I don't care about your job - it's dumb - it's a dumb store - and they sell dumb things that are gross. Don't compare your store to other stores - because you just automatically lose. I don't think it's cool that you actually try to be a bitch to your employees and push them around. I would totally want to bitch slap you if I had to work for you. Scratch that - I'll never have to work for you. Insecure self-serving person who only talks about themselves. Grrrrr. I was soooo glad that she wasn't in Vegas (which she was very very bitter about btw.) I don't think I could have taken any more of her. I was so annoyed by the fact that she wanted to be in the spotlight for Jessica and Scott's wedding. WTF???? It's not your wedding - you shouldn't be in center stage - and you should know now at the age of 35 that you're not supposed to wear white to a wedding.

On an off topic question - which is worse? The husband who cheats on his wife - or the girlfriend who goes along with it even if she knows he's married?

Well I hope Scott & Jess can find the marriage license eventually.

I'm exhausted and I think I'm going to try to sleep now... maybe I should make dinner - but that seems like WAY too much effort...
