Interesting Summer
I have a feeling this is going to be a very interesting summer. The new job has mostly been extremely boring. The owners of the place seem to really like me. The fact that I "get" how to make food and then hand it to someone, and that I am able to make reasonable decisions.... they seem to like that for some reason. I have a feeling that the money is going to be pretty good. it Assuming that I'll make more money as it's busier from tips... this could be a rather profitable venture. All under the table of course, which just makes it better. I'm supposed to work basically all day tomorrow, so hopefully it will be a good day.
Overall, it's not a lot of money, but it's nice to be able to supplement my income a bit. I want to open an investment account with the extra money, add it to the savings that I already have. We'll see how it all stacks up at the end of the summer though.
The people are pretty cool so far, but they're having problems finding people. I've had two guys hit on me so far, at least blatently. And these guys weren't even drunk. So it will be a rather interesting summer fending off the drunk baseball boys.
Still haven't heard from the place in Tucson. It's rather obnoxious that I haven't heard anything yet from anyone good or bad. I'll have to call my recruiter and see if she's heard anything.
I don't really have anything else exciting to say... I haven't really done much other than work, work at the second job, and come home and relax. I haven't had time for much else.
