Airport
OMG I'm so fucking bored. I'm sitting at the airport waiting for my flight to "hopefully" get out of this freaking city. It's been like white-out conditions all day. I went to Starbucks this morning and nothing. By the time I got my Venti triple non-fat carmel machitto it was a freaking blizzard.
They haven't canceled my flight yet so it still looks promising. Anything that I can do to get out of this city is good today.
It's not a long trip -- only a day and a half in Baltimore. But is a hell of a lot better than sitting in the office. I also got to set up remote desktop to my computer at work. So as long as the power stays on there I can just desktop in which is way cooler than playing with the VPN all the time. Other than that it's been a pretty boring day. I didn't really have anything left to do at work this morning so the only thing I got accomplished was setting up my laptop.
Supposively my mom's boss is supposed to get canned today. I haven't seen any cannings at my place lately. I think they finally figured out that it wasn't good for company morale. Apparently though a once a month lunch is going to cure the company morale problems we have... right.... We'll see what happens to my mom's boss. He basically sucks it up and is worse than some of the dumb asses that I work with.
I hope this show isn't too bad. The CEO will be there and I don't know how much I can take of the constant interuptions and critques with talking to a customer. If you met the guy you would get it -- but it's kind of hard to explain until you see it in person.
I haven't really had any new interviews lately. I need to check on a couple of resumes I sent to see if I'm even being considered.
Well... I've got nothing else exciting to talk about -- this day is really boring. I wish I had a blackberry and didn't have to actually log onto my computer to do this shit.
