Opsy!?
So I totally haven't posted in a long ass time... the last time I posted was like the last time I did laundry... way too long ago.
So I went to Boston and came back. It was really fun. It made me sad I was no longer living there.
The lastest work update is that I got super pissed at our CEO. He actually called and semi-appologized to me. Which is honestly more than I expected from him. Though I of course played the passive aggressive angry employee -- and when he called my four times between 10am and 2:55pm I didn't pick up. But when 3pm hit -- I finally picked up the phone when he called. He was a little flustered that I actually picked up... it was funny.
So both the VP of Sales and my boss the CTO has brought up a future career option: Eurpoean Sales. So the pluses are as follows: I'd get to travel to Europe a lot and I'd make a lot more money + quarterly bonuses if I exceed my Sales Targets. The minuses: The work could get really boring and old + I could be catagorized as a "Sales Person" early in my career potentially limit my future career options. While there pluses are huge the minuses are potentially bigger. The higher ups are all out of the office this week -- and I want to talk about this some more with my boss and see if we can come up with a good solution + the VP of Sales b/c he's goign to be in town later this week. I don't want to give up future career options just so that I can travel to Europe a lot. Oh-- and if I went into Sales I could probably move out of Rochester and back to Boston which would be nice.
So that's the big debate right now. Any suggestions/comments/whatever welcome -- huge career debate = big Colleen delima.
I got new fishes for my fish tank -- they're really cute. I'll take a picture and post it when I feel like it.
