Disappointed
*Sigh* So Joshy totally backed out on running a marathon with me. The wanker. His excuse "I thought a marathon was like a 10K." All I have to say to you Joshy is "LIES." You know I'm going to make you do a 5K now. I'm going to make you go skiing too, wanker. This of course does not prevent me from still trying to do a marathon in 2 years.
I think that might be your new nickname. I really like that -- wanker. I'm going to use it more often when I'm annoyed with you.
Talking to a lady at work I found out that her expectation of a job position we are trying to hire for -- is not what the job actually is going to be. What they really need is another one of her -- not another one of me. Her idea of "technical support" is really administrivia support -- data entry type shit -- nothing that involves a brain or would take any money to find and hire. Clearly I corrected her -- and she was a little taken aback that the position that we are trying to hire -- is not what she thought it was going to be. Amusing in the most. I think she thought that if she bitched louder we would hire someone faster -- now she found out that the person who she thought would be her savior and she could dump some of her work on -- is definately not doing that. She quit bitching and got back to work. Thank GOD! She keeps thinking that she's going to dump some of her job on someone new -- well she might be able to do that -- as long as that person is not going to be paid more than her. Sucks -- do your job.
The superbowl was pretty un-super this year. There were only two commericals that stood out in my mind -- the FedEx one with the dinosaurs -- and the Ameriquest (whatever the fuck they do) -- with the lady straddling the guy accidentally. The half-time show blew. What can you expect lately with overcensorship especially when it comes to national sporting events. The telcast was pretty shitty too -- there were a lot of issues with the broadcast -- audio issues during half time, camera issues, etc. Overall -- SuperBowl XL was -- well.... un-super.
