Work Blows
There's too much to do and not enough time to do it. The end of the year crunch has begun and it's only the begining of November. Sucks to be a supplier. It's frusterating on my part b/c I always get stuck with the customers no one else wants. And I have to deal with the management guy no one else likes -- and act nice to him. I really should get a career in acting -- I'm very good at it, even some of my co-workers are fooled by me. I must be really good if the people I work with everyday don't know I'm faking it. Maybe I'll try out for a play or something. I wonder if I could get paid for it. The only downside is that I hate dealing with most people -- and have to have a fake happy attitude around them -- thus the learning to act well. I would have to deal with a lot of people as an actor -- b/c -- well you have to act with others. That would make me angry inside and I would have to go to the gym more often -- which isn't wholey a bad thing.... this could work out.
I bought a lotto ticket this weekend. I think I bought one other lotto ticket in my life, and that was in high school... weird. It was in a fit of fancy that I bought it with no hopes of winning -- but at least the majority of my dollar will go to schools or something right? Can it be counted on my taxes as a charitable donation? That reminds me I need to donate to places before the year end to get the tax break. My taxes are going to be Fd up this year b/c of moving between MA and NY.
The only good thing about this horrible day (don't get me started -- I put left overs in a gladware container and left it on the counter this morning -- bah! I really wanted that Mango Chicken Curry!!) is that I got girl scout cookies. Mmmm peanut butter crunchy cookie chocolate goodness. The only thing that could make it better would be a trip to Europe. Anyone up for Florence in April?
