Thanksgiving Break Part II

So I stopped at us going to a movie -- We then went to Fazzoliis -- which I'm not a fan of -- but Since I wasn't eating I didn't really care. Called up Nick and hung out at his house for a while. I have to say watching him and Mike on Reading Rainbow was amazingly amusing. The best part was the movie that they did for a Shakespearian English project, cutting themselves and their voices into Julius Cesear. It was amusing and really inventive -- not originally -- but inventive. Nick then make us leave so that he could play Halo.

Speaking of video games I don't really understand them. Everytime I play a video game I think afterwards "Wow, I just wasted X hours of my life doing nothing" so it's hard for me to play on my computer for any length of time without doing something useful. Playing video games either makes me feel guilty for not doing anything useful or they're just plain not that entertaining. Specifically I don't understand the appeal of WoW. Half the time when my brothers play they are sitting around waiting for other people so that they can go do something. Who wants to sit around and wait on a computer?

Then b/c Joshy couldn't go home yet we went to Maxwell's -- everytime I go there I realize how much I've grown up since high school -- and how much has changed in the past 4-8 years. Which saying it -- just makes me realize how long ago that stuff really was -- a long time ago.

Played pool at Miss Cue -- Kyle came -- anymore it's just weird to see him. He's weird in general. Why he can't do stuff on other people's time -- it's always on his time. I always have mixed feeling about him anymore. In college is was almost like a love/hate thing. Now it's turning into more annoying/hate thing. I guess I just feel like I always have to initiate and put in the work -- and I always feel like I'm annoying him anytime I see him, and that he's not having any fun. He's also not one of those people that I feel like I can just pick back up with whenever I'm around Toledo. People like Josh, Nick, Lauren etc I know that I can go hang out with, have a good time, and it's not going to feel really weird no matter how long between seeing each other. I don't know... maybe I shouldn't put the effort in anymore. I guess it's the pre-emptive strike attitude -- I'm going to get rid of him before he gets rid of me. Ehh I won't see him for another year or so knowing him -- so I guess I don't have to worry about it.

Saturday I hung out with my family -- watching the AMAZING!!! ND game. And trust me it was AMAZING -- as good if not better than the OSU/UM game this year. Though not quite as good as the UT/BG game. Another big plus is that game puts them into a Bowl Game with a cool 2.5mill.

Then drove home -- long ass drive -- around 6.5-7 hours. Then work again.

Coming back to work after the double whammy of taking a day off and the holiday -- because no one other than the US has a holiday for Thanksgiving was bad. We really need to hire some more people. If anyone knows someone who has some experience with fluroescence micrscopy or in my particular field please let me know if they are looking for a job in RNY.

The biggest loser finale last night was kinda a let down. It was amazing! what most of those people have done in 5 months. Many of them had lost of 100lbs. That's a lot of weight. I was really annoyed with the guy who won, Matt. He wore his heart on his sleeve and just cried too much. I'm not much for emotional people, much less "sensitive" guys who like to cry. If I'm not going to cry you can't either. I'm not a big fan of that type of person. I like less drama not more. I had more than enough drama in college -- enough to last a lifetime.

My stress level is through the roof right now. Drinking coffee is not helping -- but otherwise I can't stay awake b/c I ca'nt sleep at night b/c I'm so stressed out. I just wish our CEO actually had to do my job for a day to understand the demands on my time.

Off to put my nose to the grind stone. Our CEO does as well. Hopefully he won't cut his off dispite his face.
