Why are stupid people in charge of my food?

I have a little tale, a tale of me and Papa John. So I'll start, Once upon a time, in a land far far away (from you), there was a girl who was longing for a yummy slice of pizza. With some forethought she found the pizza website, were there were a variety of options. She was not a very smart girl. Thinking that she might expidite the process, she decides that calling to order the pizza might be faster and more accurate (as in delivery time.) As I said, this girl was very very stupid. The phone rings and the girl hears "Hello, how can I help you" "I'd like a Chicken Club" "Oh you mean a Chicken Bacon Ranch" girl:"No, a Chicken Club, it has chicken, bacon, onions and tomato." "You mean a Chicken Bacon Ranch." girl:"Um, no. I mean a Chicken Club, it's on your website it just has chicken, bacon, onions and tomatos." pizzaplace:"I don't get it, we dont' have that." girl:" Okay, fine then. Can I just have a pizza with chicken, bacon, onions and tomatos." pizzaplace "Chicken, bacon and what?" girl"Chicken.... bacon.... onions.... and tomato" pizzaplace:"Okay, chicken bacon onion and tomato. ...... (insert really long pause while pizzaplace tries to process this information)... What size." girl"I'd like a large." pizzaplace "that will be 17.99" girl"Um, I thought it was 11.99, that's what your website says." pizzaplace"Um, hang on. John(or other random guy's name), have you ever heard of a special for 11.99 for a large pizza." randomguy"I think that's only for the pan pizza." pizzaplace "That special is only for the pan pizza." girl" You're website says any large pizza with four or less toppings." pizzaplace"That's only for the pan." girl (clearly fed up at this point) "You know what, I'm just going to order it online, then the price, the toppings, and the crust will all be right, because clearly you can't take a pizza order."

The girl then, rightfully upset at this point, goes online and orders her pizza, after having wasted 5 minutes talking to dumb pizzaplace. Why are they so dumb? Why is it only possible to order their pizza online at the right price with the correct toppings? I just don't get it. It's the same company.

Nicest Weather EVER!

The ride to work this morning was amazing. It was some of the nicest weather that I've seen in a long time. Almost 60 deg F, sunny, just nice. I want more of this weather. Bought tickets today for BOSTON! I'm in major need of a mini-break and in major need of getting away from work for a few days. I'm so excited to go back! I miss it sooo much. It's hard living somewhere you don't like. It just makes me think of looking for another job so that I don't have to live here anymore. But I'm not even partially vested yet -- so I need to stay at least a full year to become at least partially vested. *Sigh* Work stucks today for so many reasons. I'm glad it's friday. And I'm really glad I get to go to Boston next weekend. Yeah for Boston!
