Pain in my ass

If anyone has ever tried to switch their licence/insurance/plates from any other state to NY you know how much of a pain in the ass it it. It's also mad expensive with all the additional "fees" they add on. $10 to apply for a licence, another $42 to get the thing. Then $10 to apply for NY plates, $15 for the actual plates, another $42 to register it, $0q97804875 to transfer the title, $21 to inspect it. By the selves the little fees aren't that much, but with their powers combined (EARTH, WIND, FIRE, WATER ..... HEART ----- Captain Planet he's our hero, gonna take polution down to zero!) it comes to something around $200. That's a lot of money, espeically on top of having to get insurance for both the car and renter's insurance -- at least I finished all of that today. Now I'm going to have to wait until at least Thursday (when I get my next paycheck) so that I can afford to register everything in NY. I knew I shouldn't have spent so much at the grocery store. Maye I can take something back? *Sigh*

It really sucks to have like $0 and owe a shit load of money. I still don't really have my head above water, and I had better get to it soon, b/c I'm going to have to start making payment on my student loans in December/Janurary. I hope to have my credit card paid off by then (note the hope in that statement). I highly doubt I will have any extra furniture or clothing or anything that costs more thatn $20 between now and at least Christmas. And that also means that I don't have anything saved up for my house payment. I really need to start getting that together too... but it's better that I pay off the credit card bill and keep from paying interest, than saving for the house payment.

It's frusterating to work so much, just to be able to pay for a car that enables you to work. A car is such a waste. You pay so much and get so little out. Not having public transportation really sucks. It would be really nice to be able to take a bus, or train or something to work everyday, and not have the expense of a car. Every week there's gas, every six months insurance, and then repairs and oil changes on top of it. That doesn't even include the inital cost of the car. I don't really understand why people are obsessed with fancy smancy cars -- they'r ejust a money pit and require a lot more money upfront. Not to mention the fact that it's not like they use less gas or need less oil changes.

So annoyed with driving, it's a waste of time, and you can't do anything but pay attention to the road, no getting distracted, no reading, no anything but listening to the dumb crappy Rochester radio stations. I hate all the shit that goes along with driving.

Money sucks. Im lucky enought to have put away a couple grand because of my sign on bonus but in the next 2 months imma owe half of that between a hospital bill and car insurance.

Having a car is mixed. I wouldnt be able to take it if i could drive out of town sometimes but it sucks to pay for gas and maintenance. Two thigns to note, if you get a car, dont lease, buy. I like my car, its nice, but i realized that when im donw paying for it and i give it back, i have absolutley nothing of value as trade in or money down on another one. On the other hand i have a 2 year warranry and a 2 year lease, so if anything goes wrong its covered.
